For our Berlin Marathon runners, we are proposing a minimum fundraising target of £2,250 per participant. This amount has been carefully set to ensure that each runner makes a meaningful contribution to Sport in Mind, helping us continue to deliver our free, life-changing mental health programmes across the UK.
The minimum target reflects the costs associated with securing the marathon place, race entry fees, and supporter engagement materials, while maximising the impact of every participant’s fundraising efforts. Participants are selected based on their commitment to achieving this target, as it demonstrates both dedication to the charity’s mission and the likelihood of successful fundraising.
Runners will also receive full support from Sport in Mind, including personalised fundraising guidance, promotional materials, and ongoing encouragement to help them reach and exceed the minimum target. Additional voluntary donations beyond the minimum are, of course, very welcome and will go directly toward expanding our mental health programmes.
