Why run for us?

Within five minutes of receiving a call, the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) Critical Care Team can be on its way to an incident. Every second counts for our crew when responding to a medical emergency. You can make your seconds count by taking part in the Bath Half Marathon for GWAAC.

GWAAC provide emergency pre-hospital care across the South West and are completely funded by you! We respond to the most critical incidents, bringing the emergency department to the scene to administer life saving care. Whether that is blood transfusions, anesthesia or more complex surgeries, we are there for people when they need us most.

• Your own GWAAC running vest.
• VIP treatment at our event village marquee with snacks, hot drinks as well as lots of encouragement and support from our events team!

Need a place?

As a one of the local Charity Partners, we have a number of entries available for the Bath Half Marathon. Our places are available for just £20 and a pledge to raise a minimum of £200.

Already have a place?

We’d love to welcome you to our team! You’ll receive the same fantastic support as our charity place runners; the only difference is you won’t have a minimum fundraising target. We just ask that you raise as much money as you can.
